When a nor’wester pushes Canterbury temperatures up, a well set-up air conditioning system is the difference between a productive day and a stifling one. We design, install, repair and maintain air conditioning for homes, offices and retail spaces across Christchurch and the wider region, working on all makes and models including Mitsubishi and Fujitsu.

Home systems usually start with a split setup: a quiet wall-mounted indoor unit paired with an outdoor condenser. For larger homes we install ducted systems that condition several rooms from hidden ceiling or floor outlets, and multi-room configurations that let different spaces run at different temperatures. Workplaces get the same treatment at a bigger scale — offices, shops and hospitality venues where comfort directly affects staff and customers.

Design matters as much as the hardware. Unit placement decides airflow patterns, noise levels and running costs for the life of the system, so we assess the space first and recommend capacity and positions that suit how each room is actually used. Where an existing system underperforms, we fault-find methodically — refrigerant charge, airflow restrictions, electrical faults and control issues — and set out repair options before work begins.

Ongoing servicing protects the investment. Coils, filters and drains collect dust and growth that restrict airflow, raise power use and, in workplaces, affect indoor air quality. Scheduled servicing keeps output where it should be and gives early warning of parts wearing out, so small fixes happen on your timetable rather than as breakdowns on the hottest week of the year.
